Veal Schnitzel (Unbreaded)
Lean, tender, milk-fed veal cutlets, hand pounded and ready to bread and fry. Make your own schnitzel!
Avg 1 lb package. Contains 4 to 6 pcs.
Veal or Pork Schnitzel Recipe:
4 veal or pork steaks (boneless)
Salt and pepper
Flour
1 egg beaten with one tablespoon of milk
1 ½ cups of bread crumbs
3 to 4 tbsp oil
Lemon wedges if you like
Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Dip into flour, then egg mixture, and finally, bread crumbs. Fry in oil until brown on both sides and cooked through. Put lemon wedges on top of schnitzels when finished. Serve with potato salad and a nice green salad, or with dumplings and cabbage.
