Smoked Pork Shanks

These shanks are delicious; very meaty and full of flavor. Made pea soup--best I ever made according to my husband. Making bean soup next. Thank you for the wonderful product

Locally here when you buy a smoked pork shank you get a bone, gristle, and a bit of meat. By contrast, these are very meaty. I used one for a pot of lentil soup and got enough meat to nicely flavor a large (7 qt.) pot of soup. I can certainly envision othread moreer ways of preparing these that would be equally delightful. Definitely an item I will re-order when the time comes. Very handy to have in the freezer.

I ordered 80 of these for the week of Oktoberfest at my restaurant. We sold every one of them and my customers still rave about it, These things and smokey and delicious. You will not be dissapointed and they are big to with lots of meat on them.
