Beautiful Schweinehaxe (Pork Hocks) - Raw

Ordered raw Haxen. They were huge, meaty and delicious. I have not seen them anywhere else. Will definitely buy again. Thanks for carrying these.

I ordered 8 haxe, 4 raw, and 4 smoked, and they arrived quickly in a well packaged cooler box with freezer packs and added insulation. Each was individually wrapped, and clearly packaged with care. Cooked in the traditional Bavarian way, the outcome was wread moreonderful, the taste delicious, and averaged 2 pounds or more of edible meat on each haxe. Completely wonderful experience all around.

Yearning for schweinehaxe like I had at the Rixdorf in Berlin, I happily stumbled across Bavaria Sausage Inc. website and their raw haxe. Their 5 star rating should be a 10. I confidently ordered 10 and they arrived last week double boxed with stryofoam sread moreurrounding, with each haxe sealed in airtight plastic, and still frozen. Their advertised size, each haxe being 2.25 to 2.50 lbs, is indeed accurate. These are not the small ham hocks sold in the U.S., but are large, beautifully butchered haxe as sold in Germany. My daughter, now referred to as Fraulein Aimee, put three on the rotisserie this morning and, along with Austrian sauerkraut with apple, we had a memorable feast later in the day. Thank you Bavarian Sausage Inc. for helping me to relive my memories!

I ordered these for my annual Oktoberfest party last year. As many people know, it's near impossible to find a local butcher to cut these for you. I have to say, outside of Germany, these were the largest and meatiest I have come across! Very good price oread moren these as well. I highly recommend them.

your sauerkraut will taste sooooo much better with this schweine haxe. To die for!!!

These Hax were a big hit at our Oktoberfest party. There was so much meat on them, people were carving them like a roast! They were delicious!
