Deer Creek Vat 17 World Cheddar is a bold, complex, nutty, and tangy aged cheddar created by blending the best characteristics of cheddars from around the world. This cheese was developed as a part of Deer Creek Cheese's specialty Grade AA cheddar line. The name comes from the "vat" in which the cheese was aged - a selection made by licensed cheese graders after tasting wax-dipped blocks aged for two years in the company's cave. The process involved combining cheddars from different regions to capture their unique flavor profiles.
