Turkey Talk: Time to Think Thanksgiving

As October winds down and the autumn leaves begin to fall, we bid a fond farewell to the Oktoberfest season as we turn our attention towards Thanksgiving, which is just around the corner already. Planning your Thanksgiving feast is an important task, and this year we have made it easier than ever to secure a Turkey for this holiday dinner!

We have moved our Turkey pre-order to our website to enable people to secure a Turkey at any time, any day, without having to physically come to our store. These are brined, fresh turkeys that are kept fresh in a refrigerated room. These turkeys are for in-store pickup only, so you or a family member or friend will still need to pick it up, but we figured we would save you at least one trip if we can.

If you have already checked out our Turkey Pre-Order page, then you may have noticed that all of the turkeys cost the same, along with it being called a 'Deposit'. This price acts as a 'deposit fee', but when you pick up the turkey, we subtract that deposit fee from the total price per pound of the turkey you are picking up. For example, if you ordered an $80 Turkey, you would pay the $34.99 deposit fee to reserve that turkey. Then, when you pick it up, it will cost an additional $45.01 to bring your collective total to that flat $80. This deposit fee is not an additional fee being charged separately from the full price of a turkey, nor is it the full price of a turkey.
